Prime minister known worldwide for her strict ‘zero-COVID’ policies
New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern – one of the globalist World Economic Forum’s trained “young leaders,” along with Justin Trudeau and many others – has been given until Friday by her nation’s High Court to end her government’s requirement that federal law-enforcement officers be vaccinated against COVID-19.
The ruling Friday came in a lawsuit brought by more than 200 Police and Defence Force personnel who faced termination because they chose not to be vaccinated, reported the New Zealand independent news site Newsroom.
In his ruling, Justice Francis Cooke emphasized that the vaccines are less effective against the omicron variant than with others.
The judge said the ruling applies only to the Police and Defence mandates. But the lead attorney for the officers, Matthew Hague, contends the implications are more sweeping.
Hague has written to Ardern – who has become known worldwide for her strict “zero-COVID” policies – giving her until Friday to remove the mandates along with “discriminatory” vaccine certificates or face further legal action.
In an interview Monday with the New Zealand news and current affairs show “Breakfast,” Ardern dismissed the significance of the ruling, saying the government was eventually going to lift the mandates anyway.
“We did say that once we were coming off the peak of omicron, we’d be in a position to look at which mandates were still necessary,” she said. “So, that was something we were intending to do, regardless.”
