TAMPA – A flu shot has been directly blamed for paralysing Marysue Grivna, a 12 year old girl from Tampa, Florida. On November 20, 2013, Marysue’s parents took her to the doctor where she received her annual flu shot. She spent a few days after receiving the flu shot playing with children in the neighbourhood & her mother did not notice anything unusual.
Her mother recalls putting her to bed on the night of November 25, 2013, and then checking on her right before she turned in for the night. On the morning of November 26, 2013, she never made it to her parent’s bedroom as she usually would do. When the mother checked on Marysue she quickly noticed that Her daughter was not responding to her calls to wake up, so Carla lightly nudged her.
“After calling 911, our lives changed forever, Carla said. An advanced life support ambulance would transport Marysue to St. Joseph’s Hospital. On the way, she suffered a seizure, according to her mother. Once at the hospital, Marysue suffered another seizure.
