#DontYouDare Van Morrison and Eric Clapton’s Anti Lockdown Song Censored by Spotify and Amazon.

Spotify and Amazon found the original words of this song , which you can hear above, unacceptable.  Right. “Do you wanna be a free man or do you wanna be a slave?”, “Do you wanna be a pauper or do you wanna be a prince?” and the mention of the word “Constitution” proved far too threatening to market. Very subversive!

Obscenity and violence are just fine, apparently, but an exhortation to thought leading to freedom seems to be beyond the pale.

Listen and decide for yourself if this honest conversation set to music is really dangerous.
Once removed, the musicians self-censored and substituted a sanitized, more politically correct (more marketable?) version.  [1]

Sigh.

At least they tried to say #DontYouDare before they caved.

We, The People can do better than that.  We MUST do better than that!
